How to use reset button

Which button to use to restart consumer media (Long Term Average)? The “Trip Reset” button or the “MPG / LPK / KPL Reset” button?

Does “Trip Average Kpl” automatically restart at what specific times?
Only when I reset the trip?
I log out and log in again from the application?
Disconnect and reconnect the adapter?

Hi!

Long press on the display and then choose ‘reset’ from the popup menu to reset that display

Trips are reset when you quit and restart the app, or disconnect from the adapter (for longer than 30 minutes if you have enabled the ignore short gaps option) or use the trip reset button

Hello,
still not clear how to reset long term average MPG meter and trip MPG meter.

Using reset button seems that is working only when car is moving and resetting both long term and trip MPG.

Long press on the “digital display” -> reset recorded min max times is also working only when car is moving and seems only at high speed.

seems never working on APP not connected to ECU.

could you please clarify the RESET steps to be done to reset long term average MPG meter and trip MPG meter?

IN detail when can be done (connect to ECU and car moving?) and how (long press on display or reset button)
