During a recent pid editing session I encountered
a situation where the parser error message kept
getting in the way of where I was editing. Could
not see what I was typing beneath. Had to touch
a field outside to see then touch back to the
equation I was editing and hope the insertion
point was correct.

Any way the parser messages can be shown
outside of the equation field?

Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4g was the device in use
at the time.

I’ve had the same issue many times, by the Error Msg “Mismatch Brackets”, occurring mostly DURING A EFFORT to ADJUST BRACKETS!

I’ve wondered why the error message can’t just avoid current cursor coordinates – or simply increase the transparency.

Hi!

Ok I’ll see if I can sort that out as I didn’t know it was impinging on the editable area

Edit: done – it’ll be in the next beta – looks like android put the error box in the way when the equation area became multi-line
