Post Non sense data & horrible support for buyed application
on: December 14, 2017 (GMT)

Hi,

I buyed Torque Pro & Fuel economy plugin but im very sad.

Torque Pro is displayed non sense data for consumption
– 4 l / 100 km, my car has 2500 kg, 2.5 dc, 178 kw.

For fuel economy plugin its not possible to save car settings.

I paid money for applications and no one is not able to help me.

How can I do it?

Thank you for reply Torque support team.

Hi!

Make sure you have filled out the vehicle profile with correct information as this is used in the MPG calculations in the app (if you are using the internal MPG calculations in Torque, and not the 3rd party plugin)

In particular, it’s very important to get the engine size and fuel type correct in the vehicle profile, otherwise it will not give correct data

Also, in the main app settings,- OBD2 Adapter Settings, enable the ‘Enhanced MPG calculation’ method in there

You’ll need to contact the developer of the Fuel Economy plugin (it’s not me) to ask for help with setting up that plugin. It may be worth temporarily uninstalling the plugin until you have the main app setup properly

Have you enabled “Enhanced MPG Calculation” in the apps OBD2/adapter Settings?
