Post oil pressure gage in torque lite app

i tried to find an oil pressure gage in the lite app and i did not see one is there one in this app or will i need to get the paid app for that? i want to monitor the oil pressure for troubleshooting. thanks bp.

There is a high probability your vehicle does not even have an oil pressure ‘transducer’. Most use nothing more than a stupid pressure ‘switch’ that closes around 5 to 7 lbs and the PCM sets the dash gauge to set just above half way – to give driver a ‘warm and fuzzy’ feeling that everything is fine.

Generally, that is fine. Most non mechanic users aren’t familiar with the reasons oil pressure can range so wide from idle to full throttle anyway.

But, I don’t blame you for wanting to see it. That’s why I cursed the Ford engineers and put an aftermarket gauge in my Ford F150.
