I own A Ford Falcon Fg XR6T 2010 I Just Purchased the Torque Pro Version, I was using the Torque Lite version it was great but just missing s few items I wanted to monitor.
Now that I have purchased it ,I am starting to regret it, The Free version was working great and I love it, I just wanted more to monitor and the HP and 0-100 are a very good option, Although Im not sure if the y are working correctly, on the quarter mile i do 3.9sec 0-100, but in the app the numbers were similar, but then changed to 6 sec 0-100, nothing had changed, still same driver and condition, do you have to calibrate it somehow?
I needed it to
show
AFR
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
CACT coming from intercooler.
Fuel Pressure.
I do have all these sensors available and can be accessed via can, I used to use the SCT Xcal3 with Livelink gen 111 software and was able to monitor these sensors, this is why I know I have them.
I have loaded the predefined PIDS for Ford in Torque Pro, although most of the PIDS dont work.
I have also tried some of the other vehicle PIDS, to NO avail..
I have used the preset ford settings and also the settings supplied with the app.
Still cant get the above sensor data.
At one stage i tried some PIDS recommended by some torque pro users, there pids are correct its just the equation does not work.
example
Oil Temp
OBD2 Mode and PID: 2101
Minimum Value: -40
Maximum Value: 180
Scale factor: x1
Unit type: C
Equation: AC-40
OBD Header: 7E0
I applied this through add Pid section.
It didnt work, but somehow it worked for a minute or 2 then never again, dial indicates no data.
It also states that it has the following vehicle PIDS
quote” Ford, VW, GM/Vauxhall/Opel, Chrysler, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, Jaguar, Citroen, Peugoet, Skoda, Kia, Mazda, Lexus, Subaru, Renault, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, BMW, Toyota, Seat, Dodge, Jeep, Pontiac and many more vehicle makes, European, US, Far East, etc. Some vehicle ECUs may support more/less features than others.
Why is it that I can only see about 7 brands/Models in Predefined settings for PIDS.
Can anybody help with getting me the correct formulas (settings/equations) so I can add new working gauges for my particular car.
Any help would be very appreciated.
