Post Not connected to ECU
on: November 6, 2017 (GMT)

Hello

I am trying to connect my bluetooth obd2 adaptor to my 2004 peugeot partner 2.0 hdi. For some reason it doesn’t connect to the ecu. As far as I am aware the adaptor is connecting to my phone properly and diesels from 2004 should be supported.

Is there anything that could aid me in getting a connection to the ecu, im going to try again later but would love some extra recommendations to try.

Many Thanks

on your car is not used a standard diagnostic protocol, so without using external PIDs, the connection to the unit will not be

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try that later, I presume that would work due to it having the right PIDs(I’m trying to learn a bit more about one, so apologies for the lack of knowledge)

Thanks, i will try that app first and then try this (using those commands won’t break anything to do with the ECU if I put it it wrong will it?)
