Just got the app installed in my veh and about half of the gauges are in american units like MPH or gal.. Us Canadians use ltr and KM. 2 that are coming to mind at the moment and are the reason i paid for app is Speedometer both gpd and OBD as well as distance to empty.

Have you gone into menu>settings>units to
setup your preferred units?

I’m thinking that the gauges will update to
your desired units once connected and
getting data.

Ok got some of the other bugs worked out darn fingers.. now to figure out why I cannot find a oil pressure display or voltage meter. It’s on a 03 Silverado and my other gauge displays both? Did I miss something again

In case you missed it, you might try
adding the GM Predefined pids.

Menu>Settings>Manage Extra PIDs/Sensors

Menu>Add Predefined…

Hmmm… Well that one was my own stubbornness.. I seen “custom ” and seen some code in here and figured it had to be custom hand coded. Did not feel like sitting in my truck for hours like I have done before trying to get the code right. So I did not even look so I would not be tempted…lol..

ok got that all figured out but the 2 gauges i added are not responding properly. I added oil pressure and outside temp. they peg right out and about every 2 to 20 seconds they will drop back and read what im assuming is the proper reading? So the oil will sit at about 110 psi and then drop back to 30psi or so same with the temp..

Is their a place i can view the documentation and help file other than sitting in my truck for hours?

Can you edit the custom pid while
connected and TEST its response?

The raw hex response from your vehicle
will tell if valid data is being returned.

There is limited help within Torque (the
circled blue question marks on my phone),
the wiki links above and searching this
forum for your specific issue. Lastly, you
can post a topic (like you’ve already done)
and hopefully a knowledgeable user or
the developer will respond.

I am curious about your hex response…

Was it 7F… or 62…?

Did more than one module respond?

Edit:

Since the header field is empty by default
there may be more than one module responding
to the pids. If this is the case, setting the correct
header value would help.

Where on the test pid am I looking?

Also noticed that my dust to empty only retains the setting for a day then the level drops… yesterday it’s showing over 400km left today only 100. I can reset it and a day or 2 later it changes again?

When you use the TEST feature while editing
your custom pid while connected, it will return
either a valid response 62… or an invalid
response 7F…

If more than one module is responding to the
same pid there will be multiple 62… messages
returned.

Just so we are on the same page did you purchase
Torque Pro from Google Play or use a CD version?
(To my knowledge Ian only uses Google Play).

Dripbox dropped the copy public link too.
The only reason I used it was to post pics
in this forum. No longer able.

Tried your link but got a security warning
so I backed out before seeing your pic.
