Post Large Dial Size Laggy/Slow
on: October 3, 2017 (GMT)

Hello all,
I am using a nexus 6p on android 8.0 to run torque. I have had torque running smoothly in the past, but now larger-extra large sized dials/meters are very laggy and choppy. Smaller sized meters update and needle/meter movement when things change (RPMs go up or down) are just fine and smooth.

The entire app used to run great and smooth. I have tried a number of things including: reinstall, re-pair adapter, reset bluetooth, delete and setup new profiles, stop “faster communication”, stop calculating MPG, but nothing seems to work.

Again, smaller sized meters work just fine. Only larger sized will cause lag. Anyone know what could cause this?

If I make the extra large dial a floating widget, it works great. Much smoother, like it used to be and should. Not sure why the app is lagging with those dials for me, but this is a work around for anyone having the same issue.
