I’ve had my adapter for at least 4 years now. Worked well on my 98 ford contour svt. Loaned it to a friend. I had to do a body swap on my car cause the other was rusted bad. Both cars have same ecu but it won’t connect to the car. Now my wife has an 08 kia spectra5 and it connects fast. So any thoughts why it will no longer connect?

So “new” frame had “new” engine and now you can’t connect to that “new” engine?

I am in the same problem. My adapter doen´t connect with the ECU. The car is a Suzuky Grand Vitara XL7 Model 2004 Engine H27 equipped with gas, I have put automatic protocol and ISO 9141-2 Generic of Asian Engines And the adapter doesn´t recognize and no connect with the engine. What can I do??

Ecu is exactly the same.
