Does anyone know how to create a custom PID to view COMMANDED TCC PWM (Pulse Width Modulated/Torque Converter Control)?

For reference, I have a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi.

I need to view what the ECM is commanding in relation to what it’s actually doing.

I have the PID’s for 1) Transmission input speed (in RPM), 2) Transmission output speed (in RPM), 3) Converter slippage (in RPM)), but those only tell me what the transmission is doing.

I can’t find a way to see what the ECM is actually commanding.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ken

Maybe this thread will be useful?

Without knowing what the raw hex response
looks like…

A*(100/255)

((A*256)+B)*(100/65535)

Assuming a percent value is returned.

Edited.
