You might try Torque’s…

Turbo Boost & Vacuum Gauge
Turbo Pressure Control

predefined pids.

The latter may need to be tested for its
raw hex data, if its available, in a custom
pid.

Hi Capp777,
i’ try predefined pids an Boost Gauge.
Boost Gauge works but it show only one of my two Turbos.

My Problem is i’ve two turbos, two ECU’s and i’ve a bit trouble with my Turbos – sometimes one shwitch of but i dont know witch one.

So i hope i can make a custom pid to each of the Turbos and see if there are differences and hwo shwitch of to fix it.

Are you getting a response for the
Turbo Pressure Control pid ([70])?

This is the pid that you likely will need
to create a custom pid to test its raw
hex response.

A quick search turned up the following
which may be useful…

Hi Capp777,
sorry for my late return, i’m a bit bussy ant the moment.

I’ve got a response from PID70 and i’ve look in linked thread.
But i dont unterstand how to create a cutomPID (were and how must i put TXD,RXD and RXF)…and how can I make it for turbo1 and another one for turbo2.
I try wiki and a lot of threads but i dont unterstand were i’ve to put TXD,RXD and RXF.

Please post the raw hex response for 0170
with KOEO. (Should match barometeric
conditions for where you live).

That information was for reference only and
cannot be entered into the pid editor. Search
this forum for thread “Re: Aberk” which may
help with your understanding.

Hi Capp777,
KeyOnEngineOff
Command:
0170

Response:
83F1107F011216
83F1117F011217
83F11A7F011220

I’ll hope thats the data you mean.

I read the linked thread and find some information to make cutom pids:
Intake manifold pressure (requested) VW, Boost(req), 0170, ((((B*256)+C)/32)/100)-1, -.5, 3, Bar,
Intake manifold pressure (actual) VW, Boost(act), 0170, ((D*256)+E)*32, -.5, 3, Bar,

But these pids ony show wrong static data ( Boost req: 1,6 / Boost act: -8247,..)

Yes it is. Thank you.

Those 7F…. messages appear to be unsuccessful?
(Not the 41… of a successful message).

You might try using Auto (or 686AF1?) for header if
you haven’t already.

Odd, I would have expected both equations to be
similar except for the variables.

So then …

*(10/32) for mb
*(10/320) for kpa
*(10/32000) for bar
*(100/22063) for psi

based upon your first equation if my
math is correct.

For Boost, you would then need to subtract
the correct form of Baro() reading. (like the -1
in your bar equation).

Curious how you obtained a negative response
from positive values in the latter equation.

Edited.
