Can torque somehow read the actual total kilometers the car has? my car has right now 47000 klm.

In the end I need a way (any way) to extract from torque pro
or direct from the odb this number and “ideally” send it to excel with tasker app or again anyhow

Can someone come with an idea how to archive this?

It’s my understanding (subject to all the errors that entails) that the odometer reading is stored in the instrument cluster module. (Sometimes referred to as the ‘HIC’ – ??? ‘Human Interface Console ??’). And while the HIC is a component member of the network and the PCM can access it when needed, it is apparently on the MS-CAN bus instead of the HS-CAN bus – and thus not accessible to us through Torque.

Now I yield the floor for someone to shoot that theory all to hell. lol

Any chance that you render the solution / suggestion public? I would be interested in this as well, so that I can keep the onboard counter always set to trip and have anyway the total odometer visible.

I have a problem with my dongle so I can not test it
