Post Subaru not connecting to ecu

Hi guys, noob using torque. I’ve paired my android phone to elm. But it won’t communicate with the ecu. The engine is an subaru 2 litre in a vw camper. The year of the engine is 2000. Any thaughts? Tried the usual.
