I’ve been maintaining an open source fork of the data logging server. On Feb 1 I turned on SSL for my web server, and since then I’ve not been able to upload sessions.

The URL to the server has the https:// in front of it and testing the server connection results in “OK!”. Nevertheless, I don’t even see any requests in my access.log or ssl_access.log. Also, my phone is burning battery and running not…the offender is torque when I go to battery settings.

Not sure if this is a bug, or if there’s something else I should do from the app side? Or if I should disable SSL for this site?

Hi,

I posted here https://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=8527.0

that even if you specify HTTPs as the protocol, it will connect in HTTP to your server.

By the way, are you the maintainer of the github link I give ?

If that is the case, would you accept a pull request regarding the precision of the geolocation coordinates to make it accurate and a bugfix on the gmap api ( missing an API key ) ?

Thanks for the info.

I don’t maintain that one, but I maintain the surfrock66 fork:

I certainly accept patches, but my code has diverged a lot so you may need to test to make sure the patch still works.

Maybe this thread will help?
