Post paid version of Torque app
on: December 21, 2016 (GMT)

Hi there, I paid for the Torque app years ago and had it on my phone for quite a while. But I had to factory reset my old Galaxy S4 and lost the torque app. Do I have to pay for it again? If not how do I get it back? Cheers

I would think if you use the same google play
account which Torque Pro was purchased…
simply download it again like an update.

Thanks for the reply!

I was going to download it again but it seems to want me to buy it again.

I tried emailing Ian but no reply.

I guess it may have to do with the google play account you mention. I never changed anything so I assume its the same account.

I wonder how I find out about accounts? I assumed it would automatically recognize my name.

OK I managed to find and log into 2 Google accounts and looked at “apps connected to my account” and neither show the Torque app. Is that where I should be looking? Why wouldn’t it be showing? I did pay for it.

You might want to talk to someone
with Google.

I have multiple devices Galaxy Exhibit 4g and
Galaxy Tab3. It worked for me as I only had
to purchase once – using the same Google
Play account on both devices.

My Account under Google Play definitely
shows the Torque Pro app purchase.

Are you certain that another account wasn’t
used at the time?

This still sounds like something Google will
have to sort out.

Thanks again – you were spot on. I had to re-enter the correct Google Play account on my phone. Once that was done it saw that I had already purchased the Torque app. I re-installed it just now on my S4. Many thanks and Merry Xmas from NZ. Cheers Paul
