I tried a few of the Torque 1.6 apk internet sites, but they were not hosting the 1.6 apk, but a downloader you could install. I will pass. I wish google play would let you install previous versions of apps for just this sort of situation. Better yet if Ian would post the TorqueScan 1.6 apk somewhere in the forums as a stop gap solution until 1.8 could be corrected.

I have the same issue. Both the scans complete and show the info but the email has no attachment. I did take some screen shots and emailed them.

Where can you get the older 1.6 V of TroqueScan?

Has anyone figured out a solution for this?

Has anyone found a place to download the working v1.6? (NG)
Seems like TorqueScan has been abandoned :(

Edit: I found a working APK of 1.6, but it doesn’t have a PID Scan feature.
I guess the next hope is the Dev will post up the source on a GitHub so someone can fix the problem?

For phones that have three main buttons located behind the screen – a long press of the Back button opens the Menu.
Or Menu three points in the corner

If I could just Copy/Paste results of the PID Scan, I’d be OK, but that’s not possible either I guess.

BUMP for SA.

If this doesn’t work @Sa, try providing my friend @cintakc your email address and ask him if he will provide you a copy of the PID SCAN app he put together to get around this problem. It is a separate app instead of a Torque ‘plug in’. But it works like a champ. It has a Start / Stop button, allows specifying scan HEADER, and Starting ending PID #.

Hi,

You are not doing anything wrong. It is the plugin that has issue. I am surprised that you missed my today’s posting under the title “Torque Scan add on issues” before this thread was posted for the same issue. Until the issue is fixed, see my work around. It is not the best but it is the only I can think of it. I also tried to find if there is any log file but was unsuccessful. Have a look at my post.
