Hello, I’m a new user and have a couple of issues/questions. I’m running Torque Pro on a Samsung GS3 with a BAFX bt adapter. Vehicle is 1999 BMW 528i.

1) Parameters (PIDs ?) sometimes don’t show up in the torque scan list or update on screens I have configured. I’ve seen engine RPM, Oxygen sensor voltage exhibit this behavior. Sometimes I’ve been able to quit the app, restart and then they start updating again. When they’re “missing” the don’t show up at all in the torque scan list nor do they give any data. I’ve enabled the faster updating for the bt adapter and the BMW “fix”. Once I get it working, it works great and I used it to confirm a bad oxygen sensor.

2) Perhaps related to above, but what is the extended torque scan? What does it do, how do you initiate it, and does it really take hours?
