Piemmm
could you add a new type of display analogously “On/Off display”
with the formula {B:x}, where x – value byte(decimal or hexadecimal) as you prefer
example:
I need to display the value of the gear lever
P – 00 hex
R – 01 hex
N – 02 hex
D – 07 hex
S – 09 hex

“Name”,”ShortName”,”ModeAndPID”,”Equation”,”Min Value”,”Max Value”,”Units”,”Header”
“Gear lever S”,”S”,”221fd1″,”{B:9}”,0,1,””,””

make you support {A:x}, where x is not only 1,2,4,8
but also any byte value

Hi

I can try – string values aren’t really suited to the equation parser so this may be a display only thing itself – need to think of how to best do it code-wise
