Several people have posted a link to the app ELM327 Identifier

I would like other members to use this app and post results of it. My phone wouldn’t save the results so I just did screenshots.

I have a BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII that several members of another forum recommended.

The first screen shows how many supported commands, version number and how many unsupported commands

mine where green (good 2 go)from version 1 through 1.4, red for versions 1.4b, 2.0 and 2.1 Zero supported. In their defense, BAFX doesn’t promote this device as a 2.1 that I have seen.

2.1 is supposed to have some benefits when working with a CAN system.

I will only list the red command version results

I would like to see how other brands/models compare.

I want to get a true version 2.1 adapter.

I think this would make a good thread for future users to make an informed decision on which adapter to purchase rather than muddling their way through it as most of us have.
