Hi I use torque pro app on two different devices (android cell phone and android in dash stereo receiver). In dash shows bunch of gray codes while my cell phone show nothing. Also dashcommand shows nothing. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi

What are the codes?

The gray codes are usually reported from other fault logs in the ECU – they could well be pending or historic (fixed, pending a couple of drive cycles to confirm it) fault codes

If you see a fault code with ‘ROR’ in it, then its basically a comms fault with the adapter (‘Data ErROR’ as a resonse from the adapter not being able to understand the reply from the ECU)

anything from P208D, P20B5 to B3D1B, C1020 to network codes U3F06, U20A1

I have unhooked transmission control module plug lately so maybe this is why I am seeing these codes? but just wondering why the same app on other device shows nothing

Hi

Is it the same version of Torque? Both apps should show exactly the same if they are the same version
