I am attempting to retrieve misfire count information for my 2006 Ford V8 to diagnose a shudder at a specific speed. Could someone please tell me how to do this?

If the predefined Ford pids are not working
you might try looking at mode 6 TID 53 CID x.

I am trying to do the same with my 2000 Lincoln Town Car. Exactly how does one get to the Mode information in Torque Pro?

Under Test Results icon functions.

Some devices may require dragging or
swiping icons around main screen gauge
to make Test Results icon visible.

@sawdust250 each vehicle manufacturer – and even different models within a manufacturer – implements different sets of PIDs outside those mandated by Federal Law covering basically emissions items.

Your model (like mine) does not present individual cylinder misfire count on OBDII ports. However mine (a 5.4L Triton three valve) does present Total Misfires at PID 1616. A digital gauge using formula (A*256)+B will give you dynamic misfire count. For individual cylinder counts, as @Capp777 says, from the front menu, select test results and look for counts by individual cylinders.

Hope this helps.
