I have a 2005 Mustang V6. When the temperature falls below 60 degrees the car will start, rev to 1300rpm and then after one minute die. If it is nice outside, there is no problem. I had it at the shop and they think it’s the Engine Control Module which they cannot replace. I would like to try other things. I did replace the fuel filter. There are NO error codes. My question:

Can I install a PID or read sensor data that would help me pinpoint the cause?

Might have to bring it to the dealer to read the Ford Specific codes?

Temperature sensitive problem, could be caused by the MAP or MAF sensor. Closed or open loop ECM control.
