Post Track recoredr RPM gauge
on: September 3, 2016 (GMT)

Hello!

I have a question about the RPM gauge in Track recorder. The Gauge reads 7000 rpm maximum. How cn i change it to 15000?
i made a adapter that fakes a ELM327 device, so i can read OBD data from a Honda motorcycle and display it in Torque.

I made a profile and set it to 15000. The settings work in Torque but the gauge in Track recorder doesn’t change.

And i would like to know if there is a way for the MAP gauge to read only BAR and not Bar/mmHG?

Thank you!

2nd that, stuck at 7000rpm and need 9500rpm, also the throttle position show 80% at full, would prefer the graph throttle position to record and review our track runs. Gear estimation from RacingMeter and relative “G”.

Done quite a few recordings with track recorder this season!

Great work!

Question… can you side step this problem
with custom pids with the correct scaling?
Just curious. (I drive an OBDI Jeep and cannot
test until family visits).

Very interesting…

I tried to recreate your problem offline
and observed the same 7000 max.

I then created a custom pid with equation
Val{Engine RPM} with a max of 15000.

When I went back into Track Recorder I was
shocked to see the original rpm gauge had
updated to 15000.

Added the new custom pid which displayed
with a max of 15000.

Maybe you just need to leave Track Recorder
after adding gauge then reenter for it to update?

Subsequent attempts at changing back and forth
from 15000 and 7000 updated immediately in
Track Recorder.

Curious if you are seeing the same behavior.
