Hi, my HH OBD Advanced brand adapter kept asking for a pin code everytime im in range of my phone recently, and it also kept asking for the pin when i “failed” to get the correct pin. In other words, i get the pin correct but fails to connect to my cell phone (Samsung s6) and asked for the pin like almost 10 times. i saw the topic about the MAC address of 11:22:33:DD:EE:FF which i do have and i guess i need to replace it, so what brand do you recommend?

I have the scantools MX (bluetooth), no problem with pin requests, PID read speeds are very good (with faster communication enabled) and it has the ability to sleep which you can enable from torque pro.

I leave it always plugged in and have no problem with battery drain even after a week in the garage.

I an not affiliated in any way with scantools, infact i hate their customer support.
