Hi All,

I hope someone can give me an answer.

Recently, I got voice warning from my Torque Apps which mentioned “Warning IC Condition”. This is not the first time, I also got this a few days ago. Does anyone know what happen with my Car? Im driving 2003 Mazda Tribute DX with 193,000 KM.

Thanks and regards…

Icy, not ic :-)

The warning is that there may be ice present (frozen slippy stuff) on the roads as the app has detected sub zero temperatures

OKay, then that is weird since I’m in tropical area, exactly in the equators line. No ice or snow in here.

Hi!

If that’s the case, then it’s very likely you’re using a clone adapter (from ebay/amazon) and that it supplied an incorrect reading (ie: asked for temperature, and returned RPM instead, or something that was 0 at the time)

Some of the clones do this, and unfortunately it’s a hardware issue with the adapter itself (basically the serial comms between the bluetooth radio and the elm ‘clone’ chip get corrupt)
