The next update to the problem of connecting the ECU ISO 15765-4 CAN or ISO 14230 will be solved (which ask more than a year)?
PS. I would like to do both.

Hi

Update will be this week hopefully! – it’s a smallish update to fix a couple of bugs whilst I still work on testing the ‘long pid’ requests

SAP72> Torque has been working on those protocols since it was first made – make sure your adapter is working properly (as some of the clones don’t work on all the different protocols), though if you mean the ability to respond to the 61xx messages then yes, that will be fixed in the coming update!

Thank you!!

Hello

I’m not sure where my question would fit best in the forum, but I’m a new user, purchased Torque Pro and an ELM327 adapter. Now I get this ‘Not connected to the ECU’ issue on a Volvo V70 model year 1999, so the ‘blue car’ icon won’t stick, it keeps blinking. I’ve tried to follow instructions, tried a few different ways but problem remains. Any tips?

BR

Hi! Running a little behind sending out the update (some theme updates require a bit of extra testing, and I’m still in the process of getting things done).

An update should be out on Wednesday (evening) at the latest, apologies for the delay

Hi!

I’ve uploaded a beta (due to the nature of some of the changes in the app) and it includes the work done to hopefully sort your issues out. You can get on the beta stream by visiting:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.prowl.torque

You’ll then be able to get access to the beta version of the app and can test it out – please let me know if the issue is fixed

The car icon is solid now (not flashing)

Checking model… Disappears after some 30+ seconds

Check engine codes takes some 25 seconds (seems to be working now)

I have sent you debug (with title spiderman and my email in case more testing is needed from your end)

THANK YOU :)

Cool – I’ll try to sort those last bits out in the next couple of updates before the release!

One more remark please, i saw some snapshots of oter users with a msg in torque notification bar saying, connected to ecu…OK.

I never saw that msg on my display {maybe old version of torque?}

In adapter settings car manufacturer is not identified
No VIN code
No Available sensors
No calibration ID

THANK YOU :)

Hi

This’ll be sorted out fully in the next beta update!

—–

In last beta (1.8.101)

Now I can see Connection to ecu.. Ok

In adaptor status:
Car model is still unknown (my car is Toyota Vitz 2009, with ELMscan Toyota from playstore all info can be read so it’s not locked by manufacturer)
Vin is unknown
Car sensors is blank

All The Dial (meter) Gauge indicators stopped working, the digital display in them works but the outer indicators don’t. I tried replacing them with new, but still not working.

Edit: if i roll back to previous beta, the Dial (meter) gauges works fine

Thank you Ian

To add to the above post I tried a clean install of torque (beta) but the dial (meter) gauge is broken. Went back to the latest torque release (non beta) and it works fine
