Post problem with min/max index
on: March 4, 2016 (GMT)

Hi
I “thing” there is a little bug with the 2 index lowest value (yellow) and highest value (red) in the “dial meter”

the highest index is lock at the value max-min of gauge
this work well when min=0 but not if min > 0

for example i have boost pressure gauge from 800 to 2300mbar
and the max index stop at 1500mbar (=2300-800)
and also at this moment the min index is not show again

rgds

ps: i use the version 1.8.80 of torque pro

hello
just a little UP of this bug with more details
this is a screenshot of 6 same battery voltage display from a custom pid with the formula : A/10
all display have a fixe max value:16
and the right column have min value at 0
and the left column have min value >0

you can see on upper left and lower left that the min/max index stay at the lower display (on half display)
(but no problem on full display)

rgds

Hi!

They all look ok apart from the top left one – I’ll try to reproduce here and see if I can fix. (though I’m near a release update so it may get done in the next update after if it’s a bug)

Looks like the bottom left has issues too
as the red max indicator is not where its
suppose to be. Assuming the yellow min
indicator is off view scale.

Similar issue: If I have a needle display type gauge for Engine RPM and set Minimum = 0, Maximum = 7000, the needle does not move above 0.

Hi!

The display is scaled (it has x1000 on the display)

You want to set the maximum to 7, not 7000 (the display is x1000) and the needle will move. setting it to 7000 will cause it to move a tiny amount which won’t be visible (as the display scale is typically 0-7)
