requests 5 bytes and over

Nissan factory protocol ISO14230 requires 5-bytes requests
requested to opportunity to add the author of more than 4 bytes
and the opportunity to count in the response from the 5th byte

Hi!

You should be able to get away with just ‘ 22 11 20 04’

The app sorts out the 01 automatically, and also the checksum is calculated by the adapter

Therefore try 22112004 as the PID, and wait a moment whilst the app works out what to do with the extra bytes

Hi!

Got it – though can you use the latest version (1.8.70 or 1.8.72) as 1.8.52 is rather old

Hi!

Thanks – haven’t had a chance to look at it yet (been busy getting the .76 release to quickly fix a couple of translation issues reported by people and sort out SSM support)

I’ll probably get another chance to look at it this weekend!

can you send a full debug using the latest version after being connected for at least a minute with the problematic display showing.

I did do a little work on this but if it’s not working I’ll need a newer debug with that version (can you put your forum name in the debug when the window pops up)

I’ll catch up with this over the xmas holidays (I have track recorder, repeater and dashboard layout plugins to update as well)

Yep can start looking at this now, will try to get it out in the next update possibly (fair amount of work with this one though)

Hi!

It’s nearly done, I have to get some more time for testing it though (because it’s a core change there’s a fairly significant amount of testing needing to be done, some of which can’t be unit-tested as it requires physical hardware and states to be set)
