I want to use my tablet as second device so I installed Torque repeater on my Galaxy S3.
Every works fine on the S3 but I can’t get Torque working on the Tab2.
The adapter status says that the tab2 is connected to the S3 but that there is no connection to the ecu. A question pops up if the ignition is on, (engine is running).
Every icon is blue and steady except the car icon, that’s blue and blinking.
And in the top left corner messages show that all protocols have to be checked.
The question is, what’s wrong?

Hi!

It could be an issue with multiple bluetooth connections on android for that handset, but I can’t say for sure right at the moment without some testing. There was definitely an issue with the Samsung S2, but not sure if it was fixed by the time the S3 came out

Fortunately I have a tab2 and my old S3 so I should be able to set up something to test with later this week. If I find anything I’ll update the plugin (so you’ll see it update on google play)

Awhile back I had posted a similar issue between my nexus 7 and my nexus 5
My nexus 5 shows connection with the 7 but not to the ECU
My post included screen shots of both the 5 and the 7 under the adapter settings. I’ve tried so many different things to get it to work but with no success.

I’ve noticed you have been updating some plugins. Maybe you now will find the time to look at the repeater plugin also??
