yeah well, ironically I have an S5 too. Holding the “old” menu button down does take me to that screen…but I just see “Add custom PID”…but how does that help me set proto to manual ?
I am surely missing something here :(

All right… now I got connection to ECU. But no data. And connection to ECU stop working after about 1-2 minutes.
Adapter version is 2.1

you write has a connection to the ECU
Put screens

This Finnish… :-)

Here you see car-icon so we have conncetion to adapter:

Here’s ADAPTER STATUS. “Yhteys moottoriyksikköön” = Connection to ECU. And that’s OK.

Here’s TEST RESULTS.

CAR PROFILE.
“Käytä vaihtoehtoista…” = Use alternative OBD-protocol

on the last screenshot, remove the green bird
when you put it, it is switching to the use of external lipids, and you are not using them

Green bird removed.

FIRST TIME after connecting to adapter:
– car-icon OK
– Connection to ECU OK
– adapter starts to count “other faults”. Now over 20!
– after that it loses connection to ECU
– trying to make it back, but no success

Only way to get connection back is start all again. Turn car key off and shut Torgue. After that same thing: First get connection and then lose it.

When connection to ECU is OK and I go to check TEST RESULTS, there’s that same “ECU does not appear to support Mode S06”

on this tab, long tap on the screen to create new appliance, choose from the list that are highlighted green color

Long tap on Realtime Info:

“Lisää näyttö” (create new appliance).
There’s nothing (text) highlighted green color:

But there was some icons with green color and I choose this “Current Drive Cycle Status”:

“Moottoriyksikkö ei tue tätä toimintoa” = ECU doesn’t support this function (or something like that.. :-) )

if others parameters such as vehicle speed, engine speed of the car is not illuminated in green, then your adapter version 2.1 will not work
you need an adapter version 1.5
