Not sure who you are on that forum, so it would help if you list out:
vehicle
Adapter model
Android device
Android OS version

List out what you’ve done already, and what your settings are.

Hi, I am sorry, müssen that completely 😉
Car Model: Toyota GT86 (similar to the Scion FRS)
Adapter Model: OBDLink USB version http://www.scantool.net/scan-tools/obdlink-sx.html

Android device: T7019A Android HeadUnit http://www.tradesolution.hk/e/ptxwebstore_product/2083.html

Android version: 4.1.1

I have gone through the various Torque pro Settings (manual/Auto for the Adapter (baud/protocol/fast/force USB1.0 in Android etc, tried different USB Ports, everthing i could think of.
Theres one USB Port left to be tested, but i need another Adapter to it (Mini USB to female USB

Hi, basically it’s doing the same things as described in my Post #1 if you follow the link to scantools.net forum.
Temperatur reading (and some others, Volt, Fuel etc) are not stable. Values jump to max, correct, max/min or something in between or stays correct for a longer time, before it starts all over again.
No difference if engine is running or not.

Put it all here, I don’t want to go back and forth between two forums.

Again, what are your settings in Torque under vehicle profile, OBD2 settings, etc.

Hi

A couple of things you can do to help pinpoint where the issue is:

See if doing the following helps:

Go into the settings->OBD2 adapter settings.

Disable ‘Faster Communications’
Enable ‘Disable ELM327 auto timing adjust’

See if that makes an improvement on a new connection (quit and restart is the easiest way to do this). Let me know if this improves things

If it doesnt make a difference, then you could try setting the adpater to a lower baud rate (scantool if you use their adapter should be able to help here). I would try 9600 baud to begin with as it’s nice and slow and if things start working here ok, then it would be very helpful to know!

This will help me see where the problem likely is and then act/help accordingly

Edit: This should now be fixed in the latest version of Torque on Google Play as a bug was found. It’s also now possible to get over 200 PIDs/second via USB
