Post Duramax Lbz to lb7 problems
on: October 7, 2013 (GMT)

I have an 07 chevy duramax lbz, I have never had issues connecting before always worked good. Today I used torque to check the balance rates on a friends Lb7 04 duramax. I had issues with connecting with his truck at first but then it connected. I was able to check his balance rates. Then I went back to my truck the 07 and my phone would not connect. I have not gotten it to reconnect to my truck yet. And when I went back to the 04 the balance rates did not work right. I know there are protocol differences between the to trucks but I have never had this issue before. Does anyone have any thoughts,

You should create a vehicle
profile for each truck and specify
the correct protocol to use in the
profile settings.

After you successfully connect to your
vehicle… look under adapter status to
determine the protocol in use.

Edit:

VPW or CANSF?
