PID is supported on your car, write the change log of this PID
if you use the formula 1-{A:0}, then according to the value you specify, it should show “ON”
if you use the formula {A:0}, then according to the value you specify, it should show “OFF”

Hey cintakc.
Car did a regen yesterday and during the whole time the Regen Status was at Off which means it does not work on my car. It’s ok though since I can see when a regeneration is done from the other PIDs .
Thnx mate once more 😉

I looked, you are connected to the ECS using a standard protocol,
To connect to the factory protocol, you need to configure the auto profile, where to register the initialization string
atsp6\nath1\natsh7e0\natcra5e8

try in the terminal ElmBasic send commands as in the screenshot, what you get the answer

Hello Sir,

I did what you said, and after setting the string in auto profile, then none of the sensors worked; and still no data message on aa0329. :(

I have uploaded screenshots at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IughoOtUEK0SWvw6dcZZYQh1UQybJ6TW?usp=sharing

check your adapter with the program

maybe your adapter does not understand some commands, in particular the command ath1

OK, Sir, I will do it with ElmBasic, and report back.

Thank you!

Yes, now it is clear that the adapter is working correctly and understands the commands you need, then the case in the settings of Torque

try the initialization string
atsp6\natsh7e0\n20

and https://yadi.sk/i/O39UZ69J3WMx3e

So, I should try to use your formulas from a few posts ago,
Regenerations Sincle DPF Exchange (DPF)
aa0329 D*256+E – 00h*256+3Ah=58

Load state particle filter
aa0329 A*200/255 % 62h*200/255=76.8 %

Particle filter differential pressure
aa0329 C-5 kPa 05h-5=0 kPa

Particle filter differential pressure sensor (volt)
aa0329 B*5/255 V 14h*5/255=0.37 v

with the initialization string and header, start, stop command?

try this
https://yadi.sk/i/tSBQYLx63WN4UL
https://yadi.sk/i/nLegMPJu3WN4iq

So, for the first with
aa0329, b*5/255, header 7e0, start string atcra5e8\nath1\natd1
end string atcra7e8\nath0\natd0
I get
Result for equation: 0.39215687
Start Diagnostic Response:
OK
OK
OK
Command:
aa0329
Response:
5E8829581405003A0000 (17 times this row)
Variables used in equation:
B=20 (hex=14, binary=00010100)
Equation steps
=Bx5/255

and entering the raw command
atcra5e8
aa0329

I get
Response(s) for command: aa0329
9:581405003A0000- 17 times the same row

It is this ok?

Cintakc,

I have create custom pids with the formulas from you, and I finaly have them!
I am so happy! Too bad we are so far away, because I will gladly buy you a 6 pack of beers!

I have the dpf regeneration numbers, loading %, and differential pressure working.

Thank you so much for your time, for your patience!

I did try the formulas from you with aa0329 and had results; the only down side is that after a wile the pids are blocked, and have to restart them, but it is ok, because, when I need info I can access them.

I will try the above formulas and then report back!

Thank you Sir!

I am happy to report that all the pids are working and I can see a complete picture of the dpf filter!

Cintack, you are the best!

Yes, cintack is the best!
Try to reverse filters in that start/stop commands:
atcra5e8\n atd1 \n ath1…
Even so, i get slow response from pids. in some cases refresh rate is about 8 seconds…and when using other pids like egr or instant fuel rate, this rate is…not nice
