That’s starting to look good.

I’m going to see what I can add to the theme properties file in the next couple of versions after the next release. This should help out a fair bit!

Looking forward to the next release!

Some of these great themes posted in this thread don’t seem to be in the skins browser in the app. I’d really love to see a blue version of the vauxhall gauges skin.

okay, that’s like, wow!

That must have taken ages to size correctly.

I’m going to adjust the themes so you can then have custom bitmaps per dial type (RPM, Speed, etc). then document this on the wiki so people can put together their own themes. This may make it into the next update.

Edit: Should see something in the next update – 1.5.32 – have a look at http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Themes

The sample file does provide a ttf-font file. However, whatever ttf file I include in my theme, the font stays the same. Am I missing something here ? Any way to change the font ?

This is my (first) Audi Theme. Still needs some work, but fits better in my A6 than the other ones :)

Hi

Cool theme :)

The TTF will start working in the next app update (it’s a new feature, as are the custom dial backgrounds). I’m hoping to get this out this weekend (likely end of sunday)

In 1.5.32 (and above) the displays for each dial can now be customised – have a look on the wiki at: http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Themes

Any possibility of getting the option to change the needle? It’d be cool if we could specify our own graphic for the needle or at least have the option to change the width of it.

I’d also like to see the themes sit in their own folders within the themedir folder (or a dedicated custom theme folder). I uploaded a custom theme but then the app crashed a day later and I lost my theme; it reverted back to my previously set theme but kept the properties of my custom theme…strange!

Actually I can’t seem to get the needle to change at all, any ideas?

# Dial main settings, more will be added upon request for particular setting(s)
dialTickInnerRadius=1.4
dialTickOuterRadius=1.6
displayTickColour=#000000
dialNeedleLength=1.5
dialNeedleColour=#ffffff
displayIndicatorColour=#ff8100
displayTextTitleColour=#000000
displayTextValueColour=#000000
font=monospace

Hi

there’s no ‘dialNeedleColour’, it should be ‘displayIndicatorColour’ :)

Most should be documented in the wiki now, the truetype font support is now also working in the latest version as documented on: http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Themes

Thanks for clarifying. I pulled that properties file from another theme and edited as needed…and seems to be in the 2002 Trailblazer theme. Changing the “displayIndicatorColour” worked!

Still a work in progress, but here’s what I got so far…

Currently a work in progress, My Renault F1 theme

It took me days to figure out that I didn’t have the latest version of the app and could not configure each individual dial, Doh

All working now though,

Brilliant APP, Thanks

With the recent update you added the feature to use custom fonts – great ! I already installed the original Audi font…but is there a way to change the font size ?

FYI…

If anyone is trying to create a custom background for fuel level, name the file “display_background_2f.png” or “dial_background_2f.png”. The identifier isn’t listed on the wiki PluginDocumentation page.

This is what the gauge cluster of a 2011/2012 Subie WRX looks like:

This is a work in progress for a WRX theme:

I’m pretty happy I found a reasonable facsimile of the font used.

Wanted something to match my stock gauges so I came up with this, nothing too fancy:

Is this one also available?
I can’t find the link to download it…

This is awesome! Looks like it will go great with my 2003 A4. Do you mind if I use it?
