That looks great. GF just bought a Jetta GLI and this will match perfectly.

Ian,

Any chance of having the theme linked to a selected profile? So when switching cars the theme switches automatically to match the selected profile/car?

Thanks

What are the chances of having a day and night theme either manually or automatically selected? Most Car dials are a different colour when lit at night so it would be nice to be able to match 2 themes to the car without having to go through settings to set it.

What is the deal with uploading some of the new themes created on page 3? I have updated the app twice now. Still have the same themes from three weeks ago. Really appreciate all the work you guys put into this program.

Would like to see that all orange “trailblazer” theme that was posted on page 3

Thanks guys

Patience, I’m only one person and a couple of bugs took priority :)

I’m uploading them now – you should see them in about an hours time. You may need to use the ‘refresh’ menu item to update the list

The trailblazer theme has been uploaded since around a day after it was posted. You should already see it

(nb: themes may only be partially supported on the free version)

The GTR Theme is not exactly possible with what we have to work with…

^ the closest we can do would only be white text on black

Looks like I’ll have to make a couple of more display types then!

dumb question but you say they are on the torque theme server but I see no mention or link to get there or did I somehow over looked it?

EDIT: nevermind came across it while messing with the settings on the app. :)

ok wit the GUI update we are a little closer to the GTR theme, technically you could write your own gui using the plug in feature… and make it look any way you want… But im happy with white on black with red sweeps, i’ll make a zip for it here in about 10 mins.

If you drop a link to a zip of the theme on here I’ll push it to the theme server (may take a day or two for me to get round to it), I have a couple of themes waiting to be uploaded at the moment

Here you go, instead of white sweeps I made red, you can change them to white but the red looks better IMO…

a work in progress, it works with most dials but a few it doesnt make to much sense for lol, cant wait until we can individualize each dial or pick and choose and what not, I wanted a simple white faced dial with a progressive redline :)

a link to the zip

http://pcflip.com/misc/White%20with%20redline.zip

dont upload this just yet to the server still tweaking it, looking forward to contributing something to this great app :)

Wanted something to match my stock gauges so I came up with this, nothing too fancy:

Heres what the stock guage cluster looks like.

okay love the blue like that… :) also that is a trip I have never see gauges like that before, is that stock or aftermarket?

Also how do you take those kind of screenshots of the app in action?

Any chance someone can make the following screens (bottom left of EDI screen);
Goto http://www.hsv.com.au/e3/edi/
Click on Driver, Cycle thru screens until you get too;
EDI/Driver
EDI/G Force
and actually any of the others that are on there, but Im pretty sure they use sensors that OBD doesnt have access to (or the car doesnt actually have?).

Cheers!

PS how major is it to make a theme? What coding experience do you need?

hi guys
this app is very sweet
could it be possible to create a multicluster gauge with 10 digital meters to fit 480×800 resolution?
individual meters as exist now fit only 8 meters in one screen and values are small due to the frame

I was thinking to have a layout for every gauge like below

#name – #units
V A L U E

Hi all,

Just thought I’d share the theme I created for my Vauxhall Vectra. This theme should suit any reasonably modern Vauxhall or Opel.

Link: http://cthorn.co.uk/torque/vauxhall_1.0.zip

The colour of the dials in the theme most closely resembles my car’s dashboard at night. During the day the dash colours are much lighter.

If Torque is eventually able to switch themes depending on time of day or light level, then I will modify the theme accordingly so that it suits the car during the day and the night.

Day/night theme switching. I like it. That’ll go into the next couple of versions.
