Is it possible to use 2 fonts on one gauge, I;d like to use one for digits and another for characters ?

I will try to do make some Defi Advance CR gauges.

Here’s the first look at a theme that I just recently started work on. Unfortunately all I have at my disposal right now is a 480×320 Android phone, but it’s a start. This setup is tachymeter on the dial, speedometer in the middle, and odometer.

If anyone knows how to remove the green status light or the yellow and red min/max arrows, please let me know. Thanks.

That could make a VERY GOOD HUD display. Any chance of a copy? – pretty please! – Do you use GPS or ECU for the speed?

I am a complete noob when it comes to this. Ha Ha

I have tried to get my head around the programing of a new theme. I cant make heads or tales of it and cant find the app location in the my Samsung devices Tab S and S4.

Quadhelix I purchased your themes on Play store (nice work BTW). The one that I like you had in green. I have taken the liberty of changing the colours to the red I like.(Quad sorry to plagiarise your work).

With Quad’s permission could some one help me get them into a theme?

Yes I have looked at the theme section on the Wiki page and searched the forum.

Ha ha I cant even work out how to upload the pictures on to this thread.

Let me know if you can help and I will email them.

If you go into the logging settings, you can get a list of all the available sensors with their PIDs. Why they aren’t shown when you add a display is beyond me. Assuming they are the same on your device as they are on mine, I think you want:

Acceleration Sensor (Total) (g) : ff1223
Acceleration Sensor (X Axis) (g) : ff1220
Acceleration Sensor (Y Axis) (g) : ff1221
Acceleration Sensor (Z Axis) (g) : ff1222

I set my device to log everything (adding each sensor 1 at a time), then output the logfile and opened it in Excel. The top two rows show the ‘sensor’ name, then the PID. The columns for time (there’s GPS Time and Device Time) don’t have PIDs, so you may be out of luck.

Can I ask, is there a demand for a white dial on black background – or is this impossible due to the default font colours on torque being white and yellow?

I put a few backgrounds I want to use on a SD card, however, I am unable to access them via torque.

I have added a folder named Gallery to my device and have backgrounds in there, still no good.

Any suggestions please?

(Remember I can only put themes online that don’t contain trademarked logos)

The manipulations of Volkswagen on the electronic system of their Diesel cars to simulate low NOx values during testing have been largely uncovered due to efforts in your country. Presumably, there are in excess of 11 million Diesel cars affected worldwide. This figure doesn’t even include cars of any other car maker, which have not been tested yet.
For the past two years I have been using an ELM327 in conjunction with your Torque Pro App to display relevant engine specifications of my gasoline engine car on my smartphone. In addition to the runtime of the engine, your Torque App now also displays the exact CO² values, which are being used in Germany to calculate the motor vehicle tax.
I would like to inquire whether your Torque App would also be able to display NOx values in Diesel cars. I would imagine that this value could be retrieved from a code in the on-board electronic system. If so, your Torque App could be of tremendous value for the owners and drivers of Diesel cars, not only in Germany, but worldwide.
I’m looking forward to and appreciate any comments you may have.

Gauge for the Infiniti Q50…

If anyone is interested, I created the round graphic that resembles the Q50 cluster

FEATURE REQUEST:

In the properties file, you should be able to do something like: dialBackgroundImage_=

and allow us to have a custom background image for basically ANY pid… this would allow us to TRULY customize the UI and let us literally create any style ui we want….

food for thought.

Feature Request:

Ability to tweak the needles…. This could become a graphic we could drop into place.

Again with the optional ability to tweak all parts of a needle.. offset rotation area, etc…

Hi all,

This is my first post. Just wanted to say THANKS to Ian for the great Torque APP, and for all the possibilities that he has put into this awesome APP.

My setup:
– Volvo XC90 AWD D5 2006
– ODBLink LX (the extremely fast Bluetooth version)
– Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in portrait position fixated using a Brodit Dashboard clamp and a Brodit Tab holder.

I use Torque mainly to log the behaviour of my right foot relative to the many short trips that I make with the car. Main endpoints are LPK, Boost, and Trip LPK…

I also experimented a bit with the Themes, to make the gauges look a bit more like my Volvo gauges. Happy to share if you like it, so please tell me what you all think!
