Have a look at: http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Themes for how to do that

I recently installed Torque on my smartphone for my 2005 4runner and love it!

I’m posting to this thread because I would like a theme that matches my factory information display (next to where I have it mounted). I’m not code savy so I was hoping someone would volunteer to do this simple theme for me or tell me where I could find a matching theme for the 4th gen 4runner.

It’s a pretty basic theme… amber background with black numbering for the digital gauges. The gauges (odo and speedo) are reversed with black background and amber numbers, tick marks and needle.

I tried figuring out how to write my own from the wiki page but it got too confusing for me… (couldn’t tell if I needed to write one file, two files or exactly what I needed to upload to my SD card)

Thanks for all your help.

see post #10 for the factory information display I would like to match, http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/154921-nuclearn8s-build-thread.html#post1534255

Here’s my start at making a somewhat-minalistic VW Beetle 2013 cluster.

I’m only struggling with a few things:
– Needle center is overlapping the circle, I would love to have my needle starting on the edge of the center dot.
– I can’t turn off or move specific values from the dials.. Best would be to be able to just turn them off, and have the values represented by a digital gauge in a different place on the screen

Just to check, you want to be able to disable the needle completley?

(and move the text to custom locations?)

No,not disable it completely, but be able to enlarge the center circle / pivot point of the needle, so you can make the “root” of the needle start on the edge of the center dot in my design, instead of overlapping it.

Maybe I should make a drawing to clarify what I mean :)

Here’s the explanation 😉
A: Needle base ratio. The base of the needle is a black circle. I marked it in bright green. The green dotted line is the scaled up radius of the needle base.

B: Needle width at the base
C: Needle width at the tip

D: Enable/disable the unit display. Or move it?
E: Enable/disable the value. Or move it?

Not sure if all is possible, let me know if there’s any way I can assist!

Has anyone figured out the params?
hideTicks_
globalHideTicks

I cant get either one of these to work.

Also, can any of the params be set with unique PID or only the dialstart/stop angle. That seems to be the only one i can get working.

I just made a theme for my new(old) NEXUS 7.
I name it “Retro Orange“.

(background graphic not included)
Maybe a little tweaks are needed.
But you can try it anyway:Download
Feedback welcomed !

Hope you enjoy it like I do.^^

Hi guys, new to this forum – sorry, but where is the Theme Server located? There is only one Theme page on the website but I don’t see any list of themes that can be downloaded

Also, is there a BMW amber theme?
Thx

Evening all,

Sorry to inflict my ignorance on this thread, but I’m desperate to know;

Is there any functionality that would allow a bar/line gauge… Something that operates purely horizontally or vertically for the full width/height of the screen?

And also, any functionality that would allow a gauge with a very large radius, with only 30 degrees of it’s arc visible, but allow the text to be positioned next to the visible portion. Like in Quadhelix’s post about the Lamborghini gauges.

I’m trying to work on a high density panel with all the information I could want on one screen.

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry if it’s a stupid question.
