… you have to change the “themeDir” folder, not just the .zip file.

hello to everyone , im new on the app seen, ive downloaded the complete app but cant seem to get my head round how you make your own theme??? i keep reading the theme home page but no joy!!! sorry being dim but a bit of help would be good please

Hi,

First of all thanks for that great app !

I’m working on a theme that, if wanted, I would be happy to share with the community, based on last volvo’s digital dials :

For that, I made the dial in photoshop

And I would like to use a nice background to complete the effect, so I’ve made one in 3dsmax

I’m using an HTC One X, 1280x720p, screen.

So I made my background tis size but It’s too big and not centered.

Background specs are not on theme wiki : http://torque-bhp.com/wiki/Themes

Can you tell me how to deal with it?

Hey Jibbax do you have any other themes that you use on the HTC One x. I also have and use the One X so i was just wondering?

As I just purchased the app, it’s the first theme I’m working on (and probably the last one as I’m of course looking to do exactlty what I’ve in mind)

Here is what I’ve got now after lot of testings (still don’t get the way backgrounds are working since, it’s redimensioning automaticaly)

Now I need to find out how to have longer needle,an no ticks, only the numbers.

One thing I’ve understood is that background is mooving, so my theme will only work on 1 pannel

here is where I am :

I don’t know if I take “speed” & “km/h” away or keep it, I’ll have to see in car (I have a Pioneer AppRadio unit with 7″ display so things looks different…)

Ok, now I’m almost done, The only thing I would like to change, is having only the hour without date

And changing needle size, but don’t seems to work :/

I really like/want that G35 one from user: rcbell.N51 but with these forums cant seem to pm them :/

Can anyone make something similar from a 350z gauge style please?

if you post the theme (without anyones copyrighed logos!) to ian@prowl.org, I can then upload them to the theme server
(hideticks will be looked at in the next update)

Not sure if this is the right place for my question.

I have read the wiki but it does not tell me if I am able to turn off displayTextValue for certain PIDs on an analogue dial.

Also is it possible to set the colour of the displayTextTitle and displayTextValue depending on a PID? — I tried:
displayTextTitleColour_0c=#000000 but that did not work so I assume it is not written in?

Very awesome program, I can see myself building custom dashes for the application for some time to come. Just wanting to be able to customise colours a bit more depending on the PID.
