Can torque handle dynamic PIDs? If not, do you think the plugin allow me to build my own (note I need to expect responses from a different unit than the one to which I send the PID (or that one+8).

Here is an example exchange using mode 2C
(everything after // is

Request:
7E0 04 2C FE 00 11 00 0C // Place 0x0011 PID and 0x000C into Dynamic DPID 0xFE
Reply:
7E8 02 6C FE 00 00 00 00 00 // Positive Repsonse

Request:
7E0 03 AA 04 FE // Request at a Fast Rate Dynamic DPID 0xFE (which now contains 0x0011 Throttle Position and RPM)
Reply:
5E8 FE XX YY 00 00 00 00 00 // – Where XX is the throttle position YY is RPM data – 2 different pieces of data. Note the response is from a the unit shifted by 200 (i.e. 7E8 – 200..)

5E8 FE XX YY 00 00 00 00 00 // – these message keep comming without the need for more PID requests.

5E8 FE XX YY 00 00 00 00 00 // – Where XX is the throttle position YY is RPM data – 2 different pieces of data. Note the response is from a the unit shifted by 200 (i.e. 7E8 – 200..)

Request: 7E0 01 3E // Should send this around once every 3 seconds – Tester Present, sent to let the ECM known that it should continue sending the 5E8 message.
Reply: 7E8 01 7E 00 00 00 00 00 00 // Positive response.
