Post Data logging settings
on: December 27, 2012 (GMT)

I am having some problems with changing the logging settings
i have tried to set the file logging interval to the minimum of 0.1s but my logs still come out only every second

i have disabled synchronous logging and have tried only logging a single value, so there should be nothing slowing it down but it still comes out only 1 entry per second

i also don’t understand the also log selected sensors setting
i had expected this to cause it to log what ever sensors are loaded on the screen at the time, but it doesn’t, so i am not sure what a selected sensor is

From what i understand its limited to speed of your GPS, normal GPS in phone only updates once per second so you need external GPS with faster rate to be able to log faster.

It shows popup explaining this if you go to “web logging” > “data logging interval” and change to less than second, but not when file logging for some reason.

the speed setting seem to apply only to data recorded on the main gage screen

the data under the map icon is always spaced in 1 sec interval

when on the gage screen you can start and stop recording
and and export log
