Data log file name format

Hi,

Is there a way to change the data log file name format? It’d be great if I could change the date format from 2012-JUN-10 to 2012-06-10 for easier sorting.

Hi!

Not at the moment (in the current version) – it uses month names so that people don’t get confused with date formats (dd/mm/yy vs mm/dd/yy, etc) which can catch some people out

I shall see if I can add a date format setting (if you know java, similar to the SimpleDateFormat structure) into a future version, it may not appear immediately though in the next update

can you implement this?
also have the date field optional and detached from the time field in the logs, could save a few bytes in the .csv

Hi!

Can do – do you have a preferred date format structure (possibly adding a drop down list of the most useful ones)

yyyy-mm-dd the best for me
