Post Display Issues (again)
on: January 7, 2024 (GMT)

Been using Torque Pro for a while.
Started with a Motorola Xoom2 tablet.
Then some chinese off brand 5″ tablet.
Various phones.
LG v530 tablet w/ LTE
Samsung Tab Active2 LTE (Current)

Always had the same problem. After a while of T.P. working GREAT, a third to half of gauges would migrate to display page before or after.

After several months of working GREAT on the Active2, problem reoccured again tonight.

If I took page count down to zero (from 5 or 7 I think), would that give the gauges no place to migrate to, or would they just be lost in the either?

Additionally, I have tried to rectify this in the past, unsuccessfully. Exported layout, design, gauges, etc but never could re-use the export. Thinking that file system had something to do with that, but I don’t know.

Before I go and nuke T.P. and start from scratch, how exactly can I save the existing gauges and arrangement so that I can reload them after reinstalling T.P.?

options – backup/restore – backup
Keep this file after saving, and after reinstall use options – backup/restore – restore.
