Hi all, tried a search no joy.

Any way to get Nissan transmission codes read?

My problem, it’s a CTS, every few months it won’t get out of first “gear”, (it’s a computer-controlled pulley transmission)

I need to disconnect battery, leave over night, transmission is like new in morning.

I know there are readers to get this done with obd2, but I’m hoping I can get those read and reset with torque.

I have tried the nissan extended DTCs, nothing there for transmissions that I can find, maybe it’s under something else?

If anyone knows a method for manually resetting TCM, I have tried the only thing I can find on line, which is engine to on witout starting, depress gas.

Nothing there, I’m told that online tutorial doesn’t do what it says
