Hallo zusammen,
ich habe mir mit Torque pro in der Vergangenheit ca. alle 4 Wochen mal meine DPF Temperatur von meinem BJ 2011 Wrangler JKU CRD 2,8 anzeigen lassen.
Bzw. wenn weitere Autobahnfahrten anstanden über diese Anzeige die Regeneration des DPF beobachten können.
Derzeit zeigt mir Torque pro unmögliche Werte an die Anzeige schwankt laufend von 500 Grad bis 6000 Grad.
Habe an einem 2. Wrangler BJ. 2014 auch mal die Anzeige des DPF angewählt, dort ist es das gleiche Problem.
Somit liegt es nicht am Auto.
Kann es sein das hier Torque pro durch ein Update einen Fehler rein bekommen hat?
Oder liegt es am Dongel, wobei Werte wie Drehzahl und Spannung soweit passen.

Hello Roffi,
1. Hast Du die Hoffnung, dass in englischen Forum auf Fragen, die auf Deutsch gestellt sind, die Antworten zu bekommen? Man kann es auch auf chinesisch probieren, aber die Warscheinlichkeit wird fast genauso gering. Und der Software-Author hat auch was besseres zu tun, als Forenfragen durch den Google-Translator zu jagen…
Also – pls use English here.
2. RPM and Voltage are values from standard OBD2 (so called mode 1), so those will probably work on every vehicle/ECU. Do you have “DPF temp” configured as custom PID, or have you used standard OBD2 “DPF Bank x Inlet temperature”/”DPF Bank x Outlet temperature”?
3. pls tell us with what version it has worked before, and what version do you have now? (Answers “i have latest version” won’t be accepted as everyone has its own understanding of “current” and “latest” at different timeslices).

Okay then I’ll try it in English.

In the past, I used Torque pro to display my DPF temperature about every 4 weeks from my BJ 2011 Wrangler JKU CRD 2.8.
Or if further motorway journeys are pending, the regeneration of the DPF can be observed via this display.
Torque pro is currently showing me impossible values, the display fluctuates constantly from 500 degrees to 6000 degrees.
Got on a 2nd Wrangler BJ. In 2014 the display of the DPF was also selected, there it is the same problem.
So it’s not the car.
Could it be that Torque Pro got an error here due to an update?
Or is it the dongle, where values ????such as speed and voltage fit so far.

My current Torque Pro version is.
1.12.59

Unfortunately, I can no longer understand with which version it still worked.

I do not use my own PIN for the display but.

Some users have watched Exhaust Gas Temperature to
see regens. (0178).

You might try “Test” while in the pid editor for the DPF
temperature pid you are using (017C?). The hex response will tell you what the vehicle is reporting…
