Hi,

Are there different bluetooth protocols or any timings when a Bluetooth adaptor would be visible?

I’m trying to connect Torque Pro on my Android Car Stereo to the “ELM327 V2.1 ODB2 ODB-II Wireless Bluetooth Car Auto Diagnostic Scan Tool Scanner” and it is not showing up as an available device.

try this
You need to pair not by means of an android, but through the Bluetooth application of your radio.
The working sequence is as follows:
1. Set the Bluetooth pin code in the radio to 1234
2. Launch the built-in application for Bluetooth calls, search and connect Bluetooth devices. Use it to find the OBD adapter and press the connect button. The adapter will connect.
