I was looking for trans temps for my dodge ram 2005 diesel and saw this list of pids.

How would these be used to make a pid to gain the trans temperature?

I dont know much about pids but saw people wanted the trans temp and had not been able to get it

The list doesn’t seem to be very helpful to you. None of them indicate the Hex ‘PID’ value.

PID’s are akin to “PORTS” on your windows computer. They are binary addresses similar to little digital mail boxes where the PCM deposits OBDII information for retrieval by scanners / code readers. They are the values you see following the ’22’ in the MODE/PID field of your Torque Pro custom PIDs

If you can locate the PID #, you can read ANYTHING your PCM outputs, whether it is a sensor value or calculated value intended for scanner consumption.

The “68FRE” is the transmission model.
