Post add custom needle to an existing theme

im trying to add a .png needle to an existing theme but no luck, i downloaded a custom needle png image with no background, copied into the .torque/themeDir file, renamed it to needle.png but with no luck. the result i get is a disappeared needle. If you know what I did wrong please let me know.

Did you edit properties.txt?

DialNeedleOffset=value
DialNeedleSizeRatio=value (default 1, half size 0.5)

If I remember correctly the image
aspect ratio should be 1:10 (e.g.
69:690)

The needle background needs to
be transparent.

thank you for your response! it was the aspect ratio.
i added the dial needle size ratio into the properties.txt but im not sure how to value pivotOffset. Ive never really done any editing into the properties until recently for the needle.

It is challenging to center out the needle to make it aligned almost perfectly.
