I am using the Panlong Bluetooth OBDII scanner on my 2000 Ford Ranger 2.5L manual transmission.
I selected the [Ford] Throttle Position Actual and the [Ford] Throttle Position Desired. When I downloaded the log on my recent trip, the Desired showed a constant 81 (which I understand) while the first Actual reading that showed up was 187 and then near the end of my trip started showing -3. What should I make of these readings. I did have a high idle issue until mechanic replaced IAC and the ECU. No CE light. Thanks

since it’s a 2000 i suspect it not a drive by wire throthle

probably a old style throthle connected to the pedal

so there is not suppose to have a desired value

just a tps postion / throthle position
