Hello Ian,
it is just a reminder, that the latest version of Torque has broken the “start in background” functionality – it starts (and stays) always visible, so every time after starting my car i need to press Home button to get back to launcher. Or if i had navigation program in foreground, i need to switch to it, what is not very comfortable during driving.
I need to use latest version of Torque because there you have updated USB drivers so i can use my USB OBDII adapter.
I hope that you can fix starting in BG for Torque.

Hi!

I’ll try to sort this out – android 10 changed(added a few restrictions) to the way things were done and this (as well as the floating widget support) are 2 things I’ve been working around. I will try to get an update out this coming week that sorts that out for you (though, it appears the background stuff may also be manufacturer dependant now on a few obscure devices)

great that you have an idea why it happens.
BTW my HU is on Android 6, so – no Android 10 compatibility problems so far :)
