Just bought a new tablet to use the Torque Pro app. It is running Android 8.1GO. I downloaded the Torque Pro app and installed it. When I tried to open the app, without using it in my truck or mated with a OBD2 connector, it goes to the main screen then stops responding. None of the buttons respond to anything and I have to close the app. Does the app work without being mated to the OBD2 connector or does it have to see the OBD2 device to keep loading? Also, I was able to download the free version and this opened on my tablet fine, without being hooked up to any OBD2 device.

I returned the cheap android tablet that would freeze upon opening the Torque Pro App. Looking at getting a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7″. Does anyone know if this tablet will work okay with Torque Pro?
